To allow you to use VisiAR we need some information that will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent. You can use VisiAR as a visitor or as a content creator. In both cases you will be asked to provide the phone number of your device in order to guarantee the content sharing service. This information will be stored locally, on your device, and, if your contact / friend shares content with you, in our database, without any direct reference to your identity.
If you want to activate an account as a content creator, in addition to the information previously mentioned, you will need to provide us with your email address, a username and a password (which will be encrypted automatically). This information will be stored locally, on your device, and in our database. After creating the account you will be sent an email to the address you provided, with a link that you will need to click to confirm your information. The access data will be stored on your device and the login will be done automatically at the start of VisiAR. In case of uninstallation and re-installation, to access your content, you will need to re-enter your username and password. If you lose this information, you can reset your account via an email reset procedure.
Your data, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or supplied to any other company for any reason, without your consent, except for the explicit purpose of providing the requested service.
We take a series of protection measures to ensure the security of your personal data such as: Firewall and connection with Secure Shell technology (SSH).
We do not sell or transmit your personal data to third parties. This does not include trusted individuals who help us manage VisiAR, conduct our business and provide you with a service as long as those parties undertake to keep this information confidential. We may also release your data when such transfer is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our rules or protect our or other rights, property or safety.
However, non-personal information about visitors may be provided to others for marketing, advertising or other uses. Therefore, we will not distribute personal information to third parties without your consent.
Furthermore, the current version of VisiAR is of the beta type, ie not definitive. This version is distributed free of charge and may be subject to unexpected errors and possible data loss. By using VisiAR in beta, you agree to incur potential malfunctions and inefficiencies limited exclusively to VisiAR itself and that in no way can cause damage to the device in which it is installed, nor to the operating system, nor to the other apps. Therefore, compensation cannot be requested under any circumstances or for any reason, errors that can be incorrectly attributed to its use.
Once the trial period of VisiAR has ended, the beta version will be discontinued and replaced by the final version which could be subject to payment of a fee or purchase price. Therefore, access to the contents previously uploaded or shared through your account, could be accessible only through the payment of the expected compensation.
